About

I hold a Master of Social Work Degree (MSW) from Saint Louis University and a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Missouri. As a bilingual Chicana therapist I am able to work with both Spanish and English speaking clients. I specialize in working with individuals with trauma and those currently going through major life changes.

I have a background working with individuals who have experienced trauma, child abuse & neglect, anxiety, depression, and perinatal concerns. I particularly have enjoyed working with those that have immigration and resettlement trauma or who identify as being bicultural, as well as perinatal women.

I am currently offering virtual sessions only to offer more flexibility in scheduling options.

I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and am currently working towards certification. While my most commonly used approaches are somatic based, treatments are not one size fits all. We’ll work together to decide the best approach for you. I truly believe that therapy sessions are collaborative and will always listen to your feedback as only you know yourself best. If you’re looking to begin your mental wellness journey, contact me to get started with one on one therapy. If you’re not sure, contact me to schedule a consultation to see if we’re a good fit and have your questions answered.

Pricing

I take insurance through United/Optum, Cigna, and Aetna.

My session fee is $130 per session (50 mins). If you are currently unable to pay the full $130 session fee, I do offer a sliding scale -please feel free to reach out and we will determine the cost of sessions together.

You can schedule a free 15 minute consultation to determine if we are a good fit.
